Objectives of the Course


The course curriculum aims to equip students with working knowledge and skills required for the deployment, operation, and support of computer networks infrastructure, development of infocomm services, computer embedded systems and IoT systems.

As computer networks and systems are the key infrastructure facilities that are responsible to help a nation develop through technology, participants will learn essential technical skills required to support the Smart Nation and Advanced Manufacturing drives of Singapore.

The part-time diploma course can be completed in 2.5 years. The course has 15 modules conducted over five semesters within a span of 2.5 years on a part-time basis where classes are conducted over three evenings per week for 15 weeks each semester.

The course is designed for engineers, assistant engineers, technicians, technical supervisors, and other personnel who want to prepare themselves with the required technical skills and knowledge necessary to manage IT networks and computer systems.
